Raising money for
Chepstow Methodist Church
Through personal friendships we are in the position to raise funds to help some of the poorest children in Kenya and Zambia receive an education.
For over 17 years through the Triangle project, we have helped build and staff a school and health clinic in Timboni, Eastern Kenya. The work here has flourished and now over 600 children are receiving an education.
In Lusaka, Zambia we work with
'Partners Across the Miles' to help our friends run an orphanage, school and clinic.
In both contexts an education makes a huge difference to the life chances of the children.
In Lusaka it only costs £30 week to pay for a qualified primary school teacher or £20 a month to pay the high school fees for an older orphan.
In Timboni we have some building work to complete so that we can offer computing lessons. This includes the installation of classroom doors (£40 a door) and electricity cabling (£600).
We know personally the people who deliver these invaluable projects and are 100% every penny will go to the stated activities.
Aquathon for Education
We will be taking part in the Monmouth Aquathon.
On July 1st we will be attempting to swim 1 km in the river Wye followed by a 12 km run along the river bank.
