Colleagues from Yorkshire Ambulance Service raising money for YAS Charitable Funds & The Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund
Raising money for
Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charitable Fund
Donations accepted until 04-07-2017
Being fit and active is a huge part of my life and I like to set myself one (often more!) challenge per year as something to aim towards. I was keen this year to raise money for charity in the process and I always think it's nice to be able to do that in a team. Fortunately many of my colleagues from Yorkshire Ambulance Service were keen to get on board and so we have a dedicated team ready to take on our 2017 challenge. Within the group we have members of our Quality & Safety Team, we have colleagues from our Emergency Operations Centre & our A&E Operations frontline service. We also have a number of other people joining from Business Planning. Fortunately a fair few of the group are paramedics and nurses so we're in safe hands :)
National 3 Peaks Challenge
We will be taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in June 2017. The challenge is to complete the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales (Scafell, Ben Nevis & Snowdon) in 24 hours or less. We will be starting with Ben Nevis up in Scotland on the Saturday afternoon before making our way back down to England to take on Scafell before completing our challenge in Wales with Snowdon on the Sunday afternoon.
