Where do you think you are?
We are three lifelong friends doing a sponsored challenge for A Little Bit of Hope, a charity based in Uganda supporting local communities.
Donations no longer accepted
We (Tom, Laura and Jonny) are going to be left in the middle of nowhere and then have to work out where we are and find our way home.
So why are we doing this? We are going to be raising money for a charity called A Little Bit of Hope. They work in the Butaleja district of Uganda, providing education for children and adults, building toilets and stoves, helping to allow a clean water supply, assisting people in starting their own businesses and providing comfort to the young and vulnerable in the community. Find out more at: https://alittlebitofhope.org/
Any donations, however big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards this very worthy cause. Thanks!
What are we doing?
We are going to be blindfolded and dropped off at a mystery location about 30 miles away from Ipswich. With only a map and compass, we will then have to work out where we are and find our way back home. No car, no phones, no money.
If you donate, you will be able to select a potential location for where we will be dropped off. As well as selecting a location, you will also be able to suggest a challenge that we have to complete when we are on our journey (such as getting a photo with a policeman, climbing a tree, or eating a raw onion!!!) You can do this by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/ybpf98kj
Choosing a location and a challenge is not compulsory though, don’t worry!
