London Marathon World Record Attempt
Welcome to my page to raise money for Barnsley Samaritans. I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April dressed as a telephone box.

Donations accepted until 23-10-2017
I ran the London Marathon for the first time in 2015 and at the time, said it would be a once in a lifetime event for me! I soon realised though that once wasn't enough and I wanted to experience the whole thing again, but with a bit of a twist. After some thought, I decided that as I was supporting my wife and the Barnsley Samaritans team, a great way to raise awareness and funds would be to attempt to break a Guinness World Record. I couldn't think of anything more fitting than to do it dressed as a telephone box, to promote the charity and the amazing work that they do. I do have a personal target that I would like to beat, but the official time is 4:33:56. Please help me to raise as much as I can for this very worthy cause and to help Barnsley Samaritans to continue providing support to those in emotional distress or despair.
Running The London Marathon
I am running the London Marathon, all 26.2 miles of it, on Sunday 23rd April!! The race starts at 10 a.m. If you're watching on television, be sure to keep an eye open for the big red telephone box and if you would like to track my progress live on the London Marathon app my race number is 24632. Thanks again in advance of your support. All the best Warren, Jo and the boys.
