I've been playing backgammon since I was 14 and directing tournaments since my student days. The game has given me a lot of very memorable moments, I've met some fantastic people and visited a lot of places along the way, and I've built up a stock of hard-luck stories to bore you all with. Now it's time to give something back - join me in our second online tournament and help change lives for the better as well.

The UKBGF Charity Challenge 2016

IMPORTANT: Please leave at least your GridGammon nickname with your donation - if you don't, I can't see who you are and can't put you in the draw!
This is a two phase tournament. In the first phase, your donation gets you entries into 8-seat jackpots that will be drawn progressively as people enter. The more you donate, the more entries you get! Win one or more of these and you progress to phase 2, a winner-take-all knockout leading to a unique trophy for the eventual victor. Multiple jackpot wins earns you bye(s) in the final phase, so there's always something to play for.
