As a Bluebell Railway fireman, I am privileged to be able to operate and work on many of the priceless vintage locomotives in our collection, pulling examples from our magnificent collection of carriages, many of which date back to first half of the last century or earlier. By sponsoring me in walking the eleven miles of the Bluebell Railway, you will help the railway create new undercover storage for many more of our carriages, and enhance the display and repair facilities for our locomotives, helping to ensure that that priceless collection can be enjoyed by future generations.

Bluebell Railway Track Trek 2016
With no trains running due to engineering works at Horsted Keynes this year's Track Trek sponsored walk will cover the entire line from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park, a distance of eleven miles. The walk will take place during the daytime on Saturday 12 November. This year's walk will raise money for two appeals with all funds being equally split between ASH - Accessible Steam Heritage and Operation Undercover Phase 4.
We have decided this year to offer a second, shorter walk for those who feel eleven miles is a bit too much. If a five mile walk sounds more to your liking then you can walk from Horsted Keynes to Sheffield Park.
A free bus service will operate to take you back to your original starting point.
