About

The world has not seen this scale of migration since WWII.

Millions are fleeing war & persecution & it’s about time we learnt from history! Turning our backs on this tragedy in 2015 is unforgivable.

The Worldwide Tribe is about equality and compassion for fellow human beings, stepping in where bigger organisations can’t in response to the needs of the refugees we work with.

Your donations support the people stuck in the Calais camp known as the Jungle, as well as those entering Europe on boats in Greece & other locations where necessary.

The Worldwide Tribe takes a personal approach to aid, bringing a human narrative to what we read about in the news. We promote ultimate unity, sleeping/eating in the camps as much as possible to gain a true understanding of the needs of the displaced people we support.

We work with existing organisations on the ground providing food, shelter, advice, medical assistance and other human needs.

I applaud you - the work you do is so inspiring. Sadly there is an ignorant minority here in the UK who see these people as spongers rather than what they are - innocent victims of circumstance.

Thanks to all at my 60th who donated to this vital cause after hearing me and my ad hoc band wreck some pop classics!

This is a donation from my 90 year old mother who cares desparately about the plight of the refugees in Calais. She particularly wanted this money to help unaccompanied child refugees
