I've always loved the great outdoors. It's not just fun and healthy - being out in nature and wilderness can have a profound positive influence on well-being. Unfortunately, our wild places are under threat from development and exploitation.

Wild land really matters. Scottish Wild Land Group celebrates and defends it, whilst Venture Trust uses its power to help turn around the lives of vulnerable young people.

Walking the River Tay catchment boundary

I'm walking the boundary of the River Tay catchment, Scotland's biggest river system, a distance of nearly 300 miles, much of it off-trail and over the mountains and moors of the southern and central Highlands. I'll be wild camping most of the way.
