3 Day Challenge
Amit & Jay Tanna + Ameet Morjaria & Jay Manek
We would be honoured and sincerely grateful for your support in our 3 day challenge. We are aiming to raise £15,000 for 3 charities.
Donations accepted until 20-11-2017
Akshaya Patra provides free lunches to school children in India. This not only provides valuable nutrition to young children but it also encourages parents to send their children to school. Young girls in particular are being encouraged to attend because of the guarantee of that meal, perhaps the only meal that they will eat that day. With the £5000 we plan to raise, we will be able to adopt 2 schools and provide meals for approximately 600 children for an entire year.
Great Ormond Street hospital (GOSH) children's charity helps thousands of very ill children every year. The £5000 we raise will buy a new ventilator in the hospital’s respiratory ward. This machine helps to keep carbon dioxide levels steady, gives children maximum opportunity to breathe by themselves, and has a built-in feature to keep airways free of obstructions.
Centrepoint is a charity to help young homeless people in the UK. It works to provide shelter, health assessments and help to find jobs (and hence independence) for young people without a home. £5000 will help 50 young people beat the cycle of homelessness by providing them with this valuable support.
