Raising money for
Anthony Pilcher Bone Cancer Trust
Donations accepted until 16-12-2017
Hi, I'm Neil Watts and a trustee of the Anthony Pilcher Bone Cancer Trust (APBCT).
APBCT is a charity established by Gill Pilcher (Anthony's mother, and my aunt) to help raise awareness of Osteosarcoma, the cancer that sadly took Anthony's life, and also to help raise funds for research (through the Bone Cancer Research Trust) to try and find a cure or improve treatments for this form of cancer that predominantly affects children and young adults.
Any amount you can donate to this cause would be greatly appreciated and 100% (maybe a bit more if you can tick Gift Aid) of it will go directly towards research.
The Sussex Challenge
On September the 16th, we want as many people as possible to get out and about in Sussex to help raise awareness for Bone Cancer and raise money to help the fight against it.
A few hardy fools (Alan, Darren & myself included!) are starting the ball rolling by cycling a 100 miles around Sussex, a loop that takes in Brighton in the south, up onto the Weald, across to the North Downs, before heading down the Adur valley back to the coast and the finish line. But this is only the start, and whilst not everyone will cycle a hundred miles, others will be pushing themselves to cycle part of the route (Kit), walk up Seaford Head (Ken & Katie), walk from Brighton to Peacehaven (Gill & Alan), amongst others.
If you want to join us that day, do let us know and tell us what personal challenge you have set yourself. If you can only join us in spirit that day then any donations to support anyone are greatly appreciated and will go to a very good cause.
