Raising money for
St Richard Reynolds Catholic College
Donations accepted until 17-11-2018
We are Joe and Laura Birdseye, parents at SRRCC Primary School. We are passionate about our children's education, health and wellbeing. By raising funds for the school sports hall and Primary education, we feel that all of our children and the wider community can benefit in a huge way. We enjoy cycling, but are by no means 'pro's' - so we are both daunted, yet excited about the challenge! We hope that you can support our endeavour and give us the motivation to reach our goal!
Twickenham to Devon Cycle ~200 miles
We are returning to the birthplace of St. Richard Reynolds in Devon, who travelled to Syon Abbey to become a member of the Bridgettine Order in 1513 and was later martyred for standing up for his faith. St. Richard Reynolds Catholic College was founded 500 years later in 2013. As members of this community which bears his name, we commemorate his journey and commitment to his faith as the SRRCC PILGRIM PEDDLERS.
We aim to complete the 200 odd miles in 3 days on our rickety old bikes and hope not to suffer extreme saddle sore!
