About

The Walter family are very proud members of the Langley Tennis Club.  With over 300 kids using Langley Tennis Club for lessons or just to be active it's a great achievement but we want to do more.  In the past there has been a Disability Schools Program and a Local Schools Participation Program but funding has not been available for the last couple of years and so these programs have fallen away.  We want to change that and get the Langley coach's back in to the disability and schools programs getting more and more kids fit and active.  We also need to raise money for some club equipment to give the existing kids playing a better experience.  How are we going to do it?  Well at 4am (yes thats 4am!)  on Saturday 23rd Feb 2019 Simon, Alison and Charlie Walter will be taking on 2 pro tennis players in Naomi Cavaday and Marcus Willis at the National Tennis Center in Roehampton along with 5 other members of Langley Tennis Club for a 4 Hour stint of tennis as part of the Bright Ideas for Tennis 24 Hour Tennis Marathon.  I have it on good authority that Naomi and Marcus are not looking forward to the doubles team of Simon and Alison!
If you would like to donate we would be very grateful.
