3 Peaks in 3 Days!
So, how did I manage to get involved in yet another ‘Briars’ big adventure?!
Well, earlier this year I was asked by Angela if I would support the Catholic Briars Fundraising drive (3 Peaks Challenge) and knowing how valuable the work is that they do with the youth across the Diocesan, I agreed. Annually, we take our Year 6 children to the Briars and they gain such depth in their own spiritual journey whilst attending the adventurous and worship led sessions - I feel it is a great charity to support in order to continue their mission work. Having been involved in fundraising previously through the ‘Big Briars Bike Ride’ and recognise the extent to which their team ethos stretches, encompassing all participants and sponsors, I feel it is like we are one big Catholic family all helping each other out through our Faith. My family have encouraged me to walk more, run more and cycle more in preparation for the 3 Peaks Challenge, whilst our staff team at St. Norbert’s Primary School have are motivating me through weekly running club sessions! My Target is to raise at least £1000. Please feel free to donate as much or as little as you can.
God Bless and Thank you.
