As someone who has type 1 diabetes I know the massive difference that new technology can have on my health and quality of life.
Navigating the NHS to get access to lifesaving technology is difficult and complex, but INPUT provide the information and support to help get access to this technology and support.
Coast to Coast in a day
Hundreds of people cycle this wonderful route every year, usually over 4 or 5 days. We plan to do it just just 1 day!
This 150 mile road trip takes in the mountainous Western Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the flat Vale of York and the Northern Valleys of the North York Moors, finishing by the sea in Whitby.
But don’t be fooled by the scenery - this is a seriously tough challenge: 150 miles and over 4,500m of ascent including some of the steepest roads in the country is a challenge for any rider, whether or not they live with diabetes.
