WELCOME TO THE ROWZAMBEZI CHALLENGE 2018
We are rowers, novice, club, elite and Olympian, from 6 nations, working together to raise money for clean water in Africa delivered by Village Water.
In July and August 2018, 3 boat crews are taking part in the RowZambezi Challenge – a 900km, 14 day sculling expedition down the wilds of the Kafue River, the third largest tributary of the Zambezi and full of hippos and crocodiles – an epic trip that will push and test our limits to the extremes of human endurance.
Our journey will start in the Kafue National Park and on to row the wilderness of the ecologically important Kafue Flats, before finishing at the site of , World Rowing’s Kafue River and Rowing Centre.
