No hair? It's going to be chilly!
As some people will be aware, I have been growing my hair for the past 18 months and have decided now is the perfect time to change things, chopping it all off to raise some money for charities that mean a lot to me. That’s right; chop it all off!
Time to get rid of that ponytail!
The two charities I have chosen to split all funds raised equally between are The Island Trust and the Stroke Association. My lovely nan and good friend Roger both suffered a stroke, and the Stroke Association do wonderful research into prevention and recovery for stroke sufferers. The Island Trust are a charity that have helped me personally a great deal with all aspects of life; they offer disadvantaged young people the chance to experience something completely new and develop core life skills in an environment unlike any other.
To give these charities both a big support, and to see my hair go from the longest it’s ever been to the shortest, please consider being a sponsor. I have set a date of the 9th March for the big shave off; two weeks from now. Hopefully in that time we can raise a good amount of money. I still can’t believe I’m not going to have any hair whatsoever!
