About

Having played social and team tennis at Purley Bury Tennis Club for over 10 years, I was recently honoured to become a member of the club's committee.
The club, a registered charity, provides opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a healthy recreational activity in a safe environment.
As a club we were privileged to be invited by the Bright Ideas for Tennis Charity to trial sessions for disabled players. A wonderful effort by coaches and volunteers means the club has been able to provide professionally coached sessions for up to 40 disabled players, all of whom are new to the game.
To continue to provide opportunities for inclusive tennis in our community, we would very much like to install new environmentally friendly LED's and to also improve the surfaces of the courts.
Please give generously and thank you for your help and support.
