Our fan club, established in 2012 is a group of fans officially recognised by the band - we had a couple of backstage meetings and have organised a lot of events and actions, which were in most cases officially supported by the event organisers in Poland.
Our fanbase has more than 15.000 active members on facebook (www.fb.com/fatmfanclubpl). Whenever we have an opportunity, usually when the band announces the concert in our country, we always try to partner up with different charity organisations and do something for a good cause, as we believe that with such a vast fanbase it is an amazing thing to do something kind together and help those in need. So far, we’ve helped children orphanages and animal shelters in our country, we’ve fundraised money for foundation that takes care of disabled children and we’ve collected money to help a little girl who was diagnosed with malignant cancer of the eye. Raise It Up - Concert Action
We would like to present our idea regarding the upcoming Florence + The Machine concert in Poland in June at Orange Warsaw Festival - we are planning to organise a special thing during the gig. This year we are running a project called ‘Raise It Up’ and the main idea behind is is to show the support for women and girls all around the world. We are going to have a concert action during the song ‘Rabbit Heart’ (Raise It Up), where fans would raise up the pink illuminated flowers as a symbol of women strength, devotion and all of us standing together.
As an addition to the concert event, we are selling the T-shirts with the project logo and hashtags (#RaiseItUpForWomen and #RaiseItUpPoland) to raise the awareness even more via social media etc. and most importantly this way fundraise money - all the profit from the sales goes to Wonder Foundation.
Another side project along with this is a poster competition - the best posters promoting our action will go on sale on the charity auction. We would like to donate all the profits from the T-shirt sales and poster auctions to Wonder charity.
