About

Prior to his retirement in May, the Archdeacon of Sherborne, is doing a sponsored walk around the perimeter of the Sherborne Archdeaconry (131 miles) raising money for the Southampton Hospital charity PLANETS, which is seeing to raise a million pounds to progress treatments of Pancreatic, Liver, and Neuroendocrine Tumours. Paul’s wife Janet underwent a major operation in Southampton Hospital in early February. In gratitude for the amazing care Janet received and as a way of helping others with pancreatic and liver cancer Paul is seeking to raise as much money as he can for PLANETS. After 14 years as Archdeacon it is a way of him saying farewell to the Archdeaconry.
