King’s College NICU
Help Staff of King's College NICU raise funds towards life saving equipment for the smallest and most vulnerable patients in the hospital.
Raising money for
The Ickle Pickles Children's Charity
King's College Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for the very sickest babies from South London and beyond. There are many medical, nursing and specialist staff who provide this life-saving care.
We are a specialist level 3 NICU providing care to over 800 babies a year, some of whom may require specialist surgery or may have been born 17 weeks prematurely weighing just 500 grams. Looking after sick babies can only be done with the use of specialist equipment.
The Ickle Pickles Children’s Charity is working in partnership with King’s College Hospital Neonatal Unit to help raise funds for vital equipment. This care is not only life saving but life changing for these babies and their families.
Doctors, Nurses, many other Specialist Staff and Parents of babies who have been cared for by King’s NICU are going to be joining forces to help raise vital funds for the NICU by running 5km on Saturday 14th April 2018 in Battersea Park.
Please sponsor us as we aim to raise £5k for the 5km.
