In a moment of madness (alcohol was involved), 7 brave
souls decided to ride two thousand metres to the top of Mont Ventoux, aka The Beast of Provence! Supported by our partners and a sudden increase in life insurance we plan to tackle the mountain on the 6th of June. We're raising money for the Simon Community Scotland who support and help the homeless.
Please visit their website page. Our seven Ventoux Virgins are, David Conlan, Scot McRae, Alisdair Kinniburgh, Paul Grant, Hugh Hill, Thibaut Heinrich and Naill McTeague. £10k is the joint veture total.

Fundraising as part of a team, view team page.

Mont Ventoux cycle climb

Our challenge is to take on the mountain without putting a foot down(maybees!). Mont Ventoux is a regular climb on the Tour de France and not for the feint hearted. This is a climb none of us ever expected to take on. We're keen cyclists but certainly not professionals and not built like professionals either!!!
We're self funding this challenge so every penny raised will go to help the homeless.
It's all pretty simple but drop me a line if you get stuck.
