The Great Thames Row 2016

Naomi Riches, MBE
I have always wanted to row the River Thames and when I became Patron of IN-vision I knew I would do it for them.

Event details
The Great Thames Row
Completed in 47 hours, 59 minutes and 54 seconds and a new Guinness World Record Holder!
From 17-19 September 2016, I will be attempting to set a new World Record for the fastest woman to row 165 miles down our glorious River Thames. I need to complete this in 50 hours or less.
This is not purely for blisters, a sore bum and a bit of fun 8-), but to raise money & awareness for IN-vision; the charity I became Patron of in 2014.
I was diagnosed with Nystagmus (amongst other things) when I was a couple of months old & back then my parents could not get the answers & information they really wanted and needed. The Founder of IN-vision had the same issues when her gorgeous son was born so together we want to make things better.
I also want to raise awareness of the ability of those with a disability. Every day people with a visual disability, indeed with any disability or impairment, have to trust strangers... so to add to my challenge, I will be guided down river by a bunch of strangers.
