Sheffield 10K for Sheffield Futures
Two years ago I did my first Sheffield 10K for Sheffield Futures and after missing out last year due to an injured ankle, i've taken the plunge to do it again this year.
I've already started training and whilst I may not get quite as fast a finishing time this year, I will try my best.
I'm running for a great organisation in Sheffield, who works with young people across the area in a wide range of ways.
Sheffield Futures 10k 2018
The ever popular Sheffield 10k takes place on 23rd September and Sheffield Futures are getting ready to run! Sheffield Futures staff, volunteers and supporters are donning their bright blue SF running shirts and lacing up their trainers to face the 10K challenge & raise money to support the young people of Sheffield who need it most!
We are raising funds for young people in need, so that they can complete their Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Many young people don't have the financial means to do this, so by fundraising for us you really will be giving these young people a chance to develop and learn skills that will set them up for life!
The scenic and exciting route takes runners along Ecclesall road, past Endcliffe Park, and back to the City Centre. That's no easy task, so we need your support so we can run faster and raise as much money as possible to provide a better future for the young people in our city!
