legs For Limbs Coast to Coast
Hello, my name is Henry Moody and I am 13. I am in Year 9 at St.Columba's College, St.Albans. We had a talk recently from The Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope charity team. They provide surgery and new limbs to African child amputees who have been injured during the wars. I was very moved by this and decided to do a charity walk to try to raise some money so that more children could walk, like me.Please sponsor my feet to that other children can walk like me too.
legs for Limbs Coast to Coast
Having already completed the West Highland Way and the Hadrian's Wall Path, I have decided to try to complete the Coast to Coast walk in twelve consecutive days, with only my Mum for company. It is a very long challenge, nearly 200 miles if we go up a few mountains, and crosses the country from St.Bees to Robin Hood's bay. We will be doing long days, some will be over twenty miles long, then we will have to get up the next day and do it all again. I know my feet will hurt a lot, but this is nothing to the pain and suffering the African children go through.
