50 of Sheffield's hilliest miles
We will be taking to two wheels to complete a 50 mile cycle ride around Sheffield's hills to raise money for two brilliant charities.
Donations accepted until 11-09-2016
My colleague Helen and I shall be taking to two wheels on the 11th July to cycle 50 of Sheffield's hilliest miles to raise money for two brilliant charities. We are raising money for the charity we work for, SAGE Greenfingers. Sage works with adults who have mental health difficulties in an area of Sheffield which is recognised as an area of EU poverty. We are trying to raise enough money for us to build a compost toilet on our main allotment site for our members who have physical disabilities and are unable to walk the distance to the toilets. The compost toilet was the request of one of our members who has, very sadly, recently passed away. We are also raising money for The Amos Trust which works in Palestine. Among other projects they are working with both international and local people to deliver creative activities with the aim of relieving the stress and devastation caused by the occupation.
