About

With your help, we've already raised enough funds to distribute over 3000 menstrual cups to Girl Guides, schoolgirls, refugees and rural women in Malawi. They like menstrual cups because they are more hygienic, reduce environmental waste and save money compared to rags or disposable pads. 'Comfortable, reUsable, Private, Sustainable,' they sing. ' My Best Friend!'
We want to raise even more to support more women in Malawi with menstrual cups, including those in prison.  £20 gives ten years of menstrual freedom,See how happy schoolgirls in Malawi feel after using their menstrual cups!

Event details

Menstrual Cups for Malawi

Jennifer, 16, a schoolgirl in Malawi wrote to us: " I had no money to buy sanitary pads. All what my mum could afford was just two pieces of a torn cloth. It wasn’t good at all, I had some sores between my upper legs, they were so much painful. When having my menstruation I could no longer dance, run, or even walk fast and sometimes I could stain my clothes. I just stayed at home until I finish.  I could badly smell. Today I was trying to insert my cup. I can now tell the whole world that it happened without any troubles. It was simple that is why I want to thank you. I will take good care of my cup, I will not share it with anyone.  Thank you, may God give you long life so you do the same to as many as you did to us."
This says it all!

It is these kinds of campaigns and actions that (maybe not so) quietly make the world a better place. Natural injustices need to be fought as well as the social injustices that amplify them. You’re an inspiration!
