You heard right, I'm going to be Wing Walking
I have decided somehow that I am going to Wing Walk for charity AeroBility on the 26th of May 2017.
Ever seen idiot abroad? This isn't to dissimilar. I don't like flying, I don't like planes so this is quite obviously a fantastic idea.
A bit about the charity:
"It is a surprise to many people - disabled and able bodied - that flying is very much a possibility for people with a range of disabilities. Indeed, disabled flying can provide a level of challenge and exhilaration that may be difficult to find anywhere else."
Aerobility was founded in 1993 offering disabled people, without exception, the opportunity to fly an aeroplane. For some, just that amazing first flight is enough to change their outlook on disability forever.
Others, realising that the fantasy of flight is truly in their grasp, decide to continue their training - many all the way to securing a Private Pilot's Licence, some even with an outlook to commercial flying.
So even if you only donate £1 it would still mean a lot to me and it would help ever so much. Above anything do it for the laughs you will get when you see me strapped to a plane going 130 MPH.
Aerobility Wing Walk 2018
Back by popular demand, we're hosting another sponsored Wing Walk on the 15th May this year.
Please support our incredible Aerobility Wingwalkers, as they undertake one of the most exhilarating experiences it is possible to have in a lifetime. Each of our Wingwalkers have pledged to raise an amazing £750 in support of Aerobility! #AeroWW
