Raising money for
Doncaster St George's Rotary Club
Donations no longer accepted
Donations are going to our chosen charity of Rossington Hall Riding for the Disabled.
At RDA, their horses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities all over the UK.
For the last 40 years they have worked alongside a network of over 500 volunteer groups organising activities such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting, showjumping and Hippotherapy, to help 25,000 people each year.
They offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability so all donations will be put to good use!
Doncaster Dragonboat Challenge 2018
Visit Doncaster and Rotary Club of St George’s 9th annual Dragon Boat Challenge took place on 7th July 2018 at Lakeside, Doncaster. Despite a clash with the World Cup, the event was a great success. Thanks to all who took part.
Dragon Boat Racing caters for all adult ages in one crew, male and female, mixed abilities and people with disabilities. It requires no previous experience and above all is great fun, consisting of 10 paddlers and 1 drummer, competing in 30 foot Dragon Boats.
Teams pay an entry fee of £350 (inclusive of VAT) per team and agree to raise a minimum of £30 per team member for your chosen charity.
ALL the money raised will be passed to The Rotary Club of Doncaster St Georges, of which 70% will be returned to the Team Captain for presentation to your chosen Charity.
