Well what can I say..... I'm Kat. I'm 34 and have had a very full and lucky life! After a decent career in acting and performance, and teaching performing arts to kids, I settled into a wonderful job working with adults with learning difficulties. I love my job and care a great deal for other people.
I was also fortunate enough to meet the love of my life and this year we got married and I gave birth to our perfect little girl.
I am fun if a bit too silly, loving and caring if a bit too vulnerable, and very very lucky even if life's not always been perfect.
They're getting my haircut!
Several people in my life have been hurt by the evil Cancer bug, and I am sad to say I have lost a few who were incredible and a major part of my life. It's no party this Cancer bug. Not for anyone. I remember how hard it was for my aunt when she lost her hair the first time. I LOVE my hair and couldn't imagine what that would be like! But that's from an adults perspective. If it's that hard for an adult, imagine what that would be like for a child. A wee princess or prince who loses their hair through cancer treatment or alopecia or for any other reason!
Little Princess Trust takes hair donations to make real hair wigs for children. So I will be donating my hair! BUT! It costs around £350 for each wig to be made up and ordered. So I want to do some fundraising too!
Anything you can donate will be a massive help! Please give what you can!
