Kathleen's Marathon Story
My name is Kathleen and I'm 21 years old. I don't really
want to write too much about me, partly because given the opportunity I could carry on for days, but mostly because I'm not running this marathon for me. In 2013 my sister’s partner Will had a serious brain injury, which left him in a coma for 2 and a half weeks. Some of the doctors were saying that he may never walk again, well he showed them right up! He is now back at work due to his strength and the incredible support of Amy and his brilliant family. But I think we could all agree that Headway Gloucester had been the most incredible backbone of Wills on-going recovery. They have helped Will and my sister by providing support and guidance whenever they needed it and I personally wanted to say thank you by doing something for them! I would so grateful to anyone who could donate to a truly inspirational charity. ThankYou.
The Brighton Marathon
I am running the Brighton marathon on the 12th April 2015, I don't have a time in mind, I just plan on crossing that finish line in style. For more information on Wills story and Headway visit Wills blog on www.fromreportertosupporter.com/blog.
