Swimming for RNF
I will be taking on a couple of swimming challenges to help Remembering Not to Forget get round the world by self-powered travel this year.
I am doing the Humdinger on 15 July (https://regonline.activeeurope.com/builder/site/tab1.aspx?EventID=1884645) and the Thames Marathon on 6 August(http://henleyswim.com/events/thames-marathon/) both with the amazing Georgie McMasters (who is also doing 10 marathons this year - https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/georginamcmasters).
Remembering Not To Forget is a small charity set up at the end of 2013 to support people impacted by dementia. Founders, Ali and Laura both have close family members with dementia and wanted to help other families affected by the condition. https://rememberingnottoforget.org.uk/
I am also a trustee of RNF and I would be very grateful for any donation you feel able to make.
Round the World
In 2017 we will travel the distance of the equator (24,902 miles or 40,076 km) through ‘self- powered travel’ - primarily cycling, running and swimming. Remembering Not to Forget trustees will be collecting km during the year but we need your help to achieve this total!
