Josh, sadly lost his fight on 10th April following a tragic accident cycling some six days earlier. Dearly missed by all, but Josh, you will never be forgotten!
Many people have been in contact wishing to help or make a donation to support Josh’s family so we have set up the Joshua Upton Memorial Fund.
We have set up the fund to ensure Josh’s final journey is not something the family need to worry about. The family will then decide how any further funds will be spent, and the fund will be independently audited by Wallasey District Scouts.
Donations directed to the fund and received from any source will be transferred to Josh’s memorial fund.
As well as his family, and school friends at St Mary’s College, the entire Scout Family is in mourning at his death, and this memorial fund enables people to donate in Josh’s memory.
Wirral Coastal Walk & More...
Well, we walked the walk... now Hannah's Haircut is hoping to keep the fundraising going for the Joshua Upton Memorial Fund!
Hannah has been growing her hair until it was long enough to be accepted by The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to children who suffer hair loss as part of their cancer treatment. With her hair now an appropriate length she is booked in to to have it cut at 09:30 on 21st July 2016. As a member of the 12th Wallasey Scout Group Hannah was hoping that anyone who might have sponsored her for doing this, will instead make a donation to the Joshua Upton Memorial Fund. The 12th Wallasey Scout Group responded by setting up the Joshua Upton Memorial Fund to support Josh's family. Thanks goes to all the family, friends, staff and pupils of St Mary's Catholic College, and the wider Scouting Family for all your help
