Climbing Kilimanjaro for clean water
I am a student at the University of Salford studying Aeronautical Engineering. I have always enjoyed climbing, trekking and generally spending time in the outdoors, this is reflected in my hobbies of cycling and water sports. I've also always wanted to complete the seven summits challenge so when I saw that I could climb Kilimanjaro and support an amazing charity in doing so I jumped at the opportunity
Climb Kilimanjaro for Clean Water 2017
Kilimanjaro is one of the toughest treks in the
world. The tallest free standing mountain on the planet stands at 5,895m. Our
fundraisers are undertaking this mammoth challenge to raise money for water and
sanitation projects in Kenya. 10 million Kenyans lack access to safe water,
held back by disease and disrupted education. By sponsoring a climber today you
can break the needless cycle of poverty.
