Bright Ideas for Tennis
Donations accepted until 23-10-2018
My name is Jesus Bermejo and I’ve been playing tennis with my son at Purley Bury Tennis Club for 3 years. My son Ryan started playing tennis 4 years ago during the Half Term Holiday Camp. He has played squad sessions run by MDL coaching, headed up by Mark Love who was awarded National Coach of the year 2015 and more recently Surrey Development Coach of the Year 2016. He has volunteered his time for Duke of Edinburgh both Bronze and Silver and is now not only playing but also helping to coach juniors with their sessions. The club has recently been invited by Bright Ideas for Tennis to host IPLAY30 sessions for children and adults with disabilities where Ryan has volunteered his time every Friday. Purley Bury Tennis Club has 5 courts and amazing facilities but in order for this to continue in the future, we need new environmentally friendly LED lights and improved court surfacing. Please give generously as this will improve tennis opportunities for all communities. Thank you for your help and support.
