Jen’s Itching To Run
Having safely delivered my second Itchy baby I decided it was time to complete my next big running challenge.
Run Jen Run
It’s been three years since I completed my last running challenge so I thought it was about time to complete my next one. Having completed our family with the birth of Phoebe at the end of 2016, another ICP Baby it’s time for me to say thank you and give something back to the incredible ICP Support.
I knew before becoming pregnant again the chance of me developing this condition was high and it was only with the support of the charity that I felt safe in the knowledge that I had the power to go to the midwives and Doctors equipped with the most up to date and relevant information to ensure my baby was born safely.
Phoebe was born at 36 weeks healthy and safe and along with her brother George it means we are the luckiest family. Some are not so lucky and this condition can still lead to stillbirth and premature births. Not only am I trying to raise awareness so no family has to suffer without help but I also want to raise money to help this amazing charity continue to grown and support these families.
We now know that my children could develop the condition and while finding vital research we hope that we can work towards ensure all ICP babies are born safely. Thank you.
