To celebrate the life of Kenneth Turlewicz and to support these charities, each of which have special relevance for him.

As Kenny's sister, I wanted to mark the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his death on behalf of all close family and friends who knew him and who still struggle with his loss. He was a highly intelligent, creative and good person who cared about so many causes, but he had a particular concern for the homeless. He found it hard to pass a beggar on the street and always gave what little he had, even when that left him with only his bus fare home.
Kenny didn't get the chance to fulfil the truly great things which he was capable of and, I feel, was destined to achieve, had it not been due to the unfair and terrible afflictions of heart disease and OCD which he endured throughout most of his life.
Because Kenny loved and appreciated his family and friends so dearly, and because his great passion in life was for the cinema, I thought it would be a fitting tribute to him to organise a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life by hosting a screening of his favourite film of all time for everyone to enjoy.
Commemorative Showing of 'Amadeus' and Reception.
Guests have been invited to a private film screening of Kenny's number one favourite film and thereafter to a buffet lunch and drinks reception where we will share fond memories of Kenny and lots of laughter. The entire event is free. Guests have been given the opportunity to voluntarily contribute to the three charities. Every donation, however small, will make a positive difference.
