Lands End to John O'Groats
I'm walking 874 miles to help raise money so that people across the world can access information, support and communicate with loved ones.
Raising money for
Phone Credit for Refugees
Donations no longer accepted
During my time in Calais I saw first hand how valuable this charity is and how often phone credit is requested. This charity provides a lifeline to vulnerable people and is expanding rapidly to help refugees and displaced people all across the world. Phone credit allows people to access support services and information and to stay in contact with friends and family. Volunteers on the ground use mobile phones to stay in contact with extremely vulnerable young people. This Charity does so much to improve the lives of refugees and displaced people around the world and every penny donated goes towards phone credit.
Walking Lands End to John O'Groats
The route I am taking is 874 miles. I will be walking an average of 18 miles a day for 55 days and taking a rest day very 5 days or so. I start on May 4th (travelling down to Lands End) and begin the walk on the 5th of May. I plan to visit some primary schools along the way to raise awareness and plan to have at least one evening event to help raise money. My target amount is £850, a pound for every mile. - Everyone has been so generous and reached this target before I even started walking! Maybe we can aim higher £2 per mile! Maybe even £3 per mile, let's help as many people as possible! If we reach the next target more than 130 people will receive phone credit.
