About Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde
Providing information, support and social activities for people suffering from acquired brain injuries, Headway Blackpool is a small charity with a big heart.
The Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde branch was formed in 2010 when our Patrons Ian and Karen Kendrick’s son suffered a brain injury and was not able to travel the distance to other Headway groups or branches. Since then, the charity has grown in the services it provides and became an independent registered charity in 2014.
Currently providing a space for Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde members to meet bi-monthly to socialise, alongside annual social events and access to professional services, more funding will help to increase the support on offer to brain injury survivors across the Fylde coast.
