Since becoming Bluebell Railway Preservation Chairman in May 2016 I have become ever more determined to see our railway rise again to become a truly Premier Heritage Railway. This means that we need to increase our visitor numbers and revenue to ensure that our track, locos and coaches are of the highest standard.  By sponsoring me, and/or other Trekers, you will be helping our Railway to achieve that aim.

Bluebell Railway Track Trek 2016

With no trains running due to engineering works at Horsted Keynes this year's Track Trek sponsored walk will cover the entire line from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park, a distance of eleven miles. The walk will take place during the daytime on Saturday 12 November. This year's walk will raise money for two appeals with all funds being equally split between ASH - Accessible Steam Heritage and Operation Undercover Phase 4.

We have decided this year to offer a second, shorter walk for those who feel eleven miles is a bit too much. If a five mile walk sounds more to your liking then you can walk from Horsted Keynes to Sheffield Park.

A free bus service will operate to take you back to your original starting point.
