I have the pleasure of abseiling from the31st floor of the BT Tower with The Royal Marines on Monday, March 10th 2014.

A few of you may know that I'm not keen on heights, indeed, I don't even have the stomach for the London Eye, so this is going to be a mental challenge as much as a physical one.

We're raising money for two worthy charities - The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund and Sport Relief. Please give generously!

The Great BT Tower Abseil

BT are giving 30 people the exclusive opportunity to abseil 31 storeys (148m) down the BT Tower in March to raise important funds for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund and Sport Relief.

The abseil takes place on 10th March and will form part of the Royal Marines 350th anniversary celebrations (RM350). This event will also help support Sport Relief’s wider fundraising activities taking place through March 2014.

Each participant is being asked to raise funds to take part in this ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
Sport Relief is an initiative of Comic Relief, registered charity 326568 (England/Wales); SC039730 (Scotland).
