CQWW CW 2016 QSO Challenge
The CQWW contest is an international amateur radio event enjoyed by thousands of other amateurs around the world. It is a morse code (CW) contest on the shortwave amateur frequency bands. The aim is to have as many contacts (QSOs) with other radio amateurs in as many different countries of the world during the 48 hours. My own challenge is to work 1000 stations, in 2015 I made 710.
Sponsors may, if they wish, donate an amount related to my final contact count, eg 2p per contact. After a very successful weekend I ended up with 609 contacts, down on 2015 but still in a good position.
