About

I am Stuart, a serving member of the RAF. My dad was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) in 2014. Following dad's 30 years in the Fire Service, he started a new career delivering donor organs around the country. The irony is that now he is in a situation where he may require donor organs. After researching IPF, I wanted to do something to help sufferers of this disease maintain hope and quality of life. I have taken part in charity bike rides before, but nothing more than 25 miles. I thought a greater challenge would be to break into triple figures, so here we are. This single day of suffering is to help relieve the suffering of people living with IPF every day.Our team of five are currently hard at work utilising their spare time to train in order to maximize our chances of sucess.
