I am raising money for the many disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK and overseas by running the London marathon 2018
Raising money for
Zurich Community Trust (UK) Ltd
I am a keen (note the word 'keen' rather than 'fast') runner who for years ran up to half marathon distance. I ran my first marathon last year and raised money for the Alzheimer's Society after the death of my uncle to the disease. Since joining the Openwork network I have been inspired by the fantastic work that the Openwork Foundation does for those less fortunate and I made the decision that I would like to contribute to this great work. Despite my brain reminding me of how painful the last 6 miles of the first marathon were, my heart won out and I am delighted to be making up one of the Openwork team at this years London Marathon.
I am funding all the travel and accommodation costs myself and so every penny raised from sponsorship will go directly to the foundation and to those who so desperately need the help. Thanks in advance for your kind donation.
London Marathon 2018
We have an amazing team of 13 taking part in this famous Marathon across London and raising money for the Openwork Foundation. We are raising funds for the Openwork Foundation to support our grant programme for children and young people in the UK and overseas up to the age of 18, who are disadvantaged either socially, mentally or physically.
