Great North Run for Autism Forward
I will take part in The Great North Run (a half marathon; 13.1 miles) through Newcastle and Gateshead with my sighted guide.
Raising money for
Autism Forward CIO
Donations accepted until 09-12-2018
The aim of Autism Forward is to enable autistic adults to break free of the barriers they face in the workplace and beyond, to reach their full potential in life. Only 16% of autistic adults are in full time work.
Mentoring helps autistic adults deal with issues such as anxiety, relationships, housing and personal stability – help which is often not otherwise available and which is so important for inclusion in the community.
You can help transform the lives of autistic adults so we can fund specialist employment related mentoring and raise awareness among employers. All money raised goes directly to help people with autism, neither this website or the charity itself take any money for administration.
The Great North Run
This world famous half marathon will be the furthest I have ever run. I'm registered severely sight impaired / blind, and started running with Chris, my brilliant sighted guide, in 2017. I am very pleased to be able to raise money for a cause I am so passionate about. Thank you so much for your support, and please do share this page with your friends, family and colleagues.
