The National Autistic Society
Donations accepted until 08-08-2017
The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for people affected by autism. The Enfield Branch was set up by volunteers in 2005 to support and represent local autistic people, their families and carers. We remain a totally voluntary group of parents and autistic adults working together and supporting each other.
Autism is a serious, lifelong condition affecting how people communicate with and relate to others. Without support it can be very stressful and isolating - we aim to make sure that local autistic people and their families do not feel alone. From the good times to the challenging times, we are there at every stage, to help transform the lives of local people living with autism.
On 8th July 2017 we invite you to visit our stall to find out more about our work and support us. Whether it is our popular play sessions where families can relax while their children let off steam, our youth club where autistic teenagers learn how to make friends, or our ground-breaking life coaching for autistic adults - we are always there as a partner for life. On July 8th please show your support - our local programmes are totally locally funded so we need you! You can donate here or come and visit us on the day. Every penny you give will go to support autistic people living locally.
