About
Hello! On the 14th June Emma and Monica successfully completed the Two Castles 10k wearing Bangladeshi saris! We made it round in a respectable 1 hour 21! We aim to raise £1000 for a fantastic cause - improving the health and well-being of vulnerable, women, men and children across Bangladesh.
We are fundraising for UK registered charities Dhaka Ahsania Mission UK and Education for Health.
Dhaka Ahsania Mission UK run the following projects across Bangladesh; two Drop-In Centres for 1,200 Street and Working Children, 6 urban education centres, a vocational training and empowerment project for adolescents and a water and sanitation project for 22,000 people.
Education for Health have trained over 500 doctors in asthma care across Bangladesh. These doctors are now setting up community respiratory clinics and providing care to thousands of people.
Please help us to support this great cause! Thank you.
