At the beginning of 2019, we almost lost my Sister in law to a brain tumor. She underwent a 12 hour operation to remove this and is slowly recovering.

We have decided as a family to collect funds for refugees living in dire conditions and provide support for them as a sadaqa jaaria (continuous charity) project. A well known hadith states; “Give sadaqah (charity) without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”
This campaign will be dedicated to Adeela Suleman and all other patients suffering from ill health.
As a medical doctor, I have travelled inside Syria during the conflict, working in field hospitals in Idlib and the Aleppo Medical Council as well as refugee camps across North West Syria.I witnessed first hand the atrocities and suffering Syrian refugees are trying to escape from.

NEXT week, I'm travelling to refugee camps in Iraq. Many refugees languish in tents, affected by hunger, thirst and insecurity. We CANNOT wait until a political compromise is negotiated to help the vulnerable. Aid efforts MUST CONTINUE! We are in this for the long run- as long as families need help and continue to live in desperate conditions.

Saving lives in refugee camps: Syria/Lebanon/Iraq

Millions of innocent lives have been affected by the violence in the last 7 years in SYRIA. Hundreds of thousands are already dead. I am travelling to Iraq next week to deliver Ramadan food aid, and scoping sustainable long term projects for Syrian refugees trapped and living in limbo, in refugee camp cities in desperate conditions. Please help us bring productive change to their lives.
£50 will provide food for one family per month.
£100 provides medical kits, medication to stock a small clinic.
£250 supports several vulnerable orphans for a year.
I am also looking into clean water provision for the camps- an amazing source of sadaqa jaaria for anyone donating.

TEAM ZULFIQAR have been fundraising to support some of the millions of refugees that have fled the crisis over the last seven years.
Our fundraising campaigns include climbing Kilimanjaro4Syria, BenNevis4Syria, Snowdon4Syria, Baking Cakes4Syria, applying Henna4Syria, serving Icecream4Syria, running Charity Makeup Workshops4Syria and many other initiatives! . Make a difference NOW by helping us to help them! We thank you in advance for your generosity! For more information, visit
