Oliver's Wish Foundation
Donations accepted until 16-12-2017
My names Ellis, and I'm going to try and beat Tough Mudder in a reasonable time. If you know me you know I play rugby, get in the mud a lot and break easily (1 broken forearm, torn ACL, PCL, Miniscus and had my wrist rebuilt) but on top of all this I love to complain about the weather, the cold and most things... but on the 16th I'm going to throw myself in the mud for Oliver's Wish Foundation and hopefully come out the other side in one piece!
Oliver's Wish Foundation is a fantastic charity, The Olivers Wish Foundation was founded in memory of Oliver Dowling, who tragically passed away in his sleep in the autumn of 2015. Oliver made a huge impact on all those that he met. A born entertainer, he was full of life and touched everyone with his kind and gentle nature. Oliver gave so many happy memories to his family and friends during his short life and he will be remembered with love always.
The Oliver's Wish foundation is aiming to raise as much money as we can in Oliver's memory for a range of charities that are focused on the support of children and young people.
Tough Mudder Run
Probably the toughest event on the planet
Tough Mudder is a 12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. With no podiums, winners, or clocks to race against, it’s not about how fast you can cross the finish line. Rather, it’s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.
