Drew Wilkinson's Great North Run: A decade on.
10 years later. 10 years older. Can he match his time from 2008? Drew is going to find out whilst raising money for Charlotte Straker.
Raising money for
The Charlotte Straker Project
Drew, a keen runner from Riding Mill in Northumberland will be running the Great North Run in September to raise money for The Charlotte Straker Project, a well worthy local charity who provide exceptional nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly and frail in Northumberland. They are an independent charity and rely on donations to improve their facilities and equipment which contributes significantly to the wellbeing of their residents. Charlotte Straker also provides one free of charge community respite bed for local people to provide respite for carers/hard pressed families. Which would normally cost £40,000 a year to provide.
Please show your support by kindly donating to this wonderful charity and help us reach our £500 target.
Drew completed the Great North Run 10 years ago in a staggering 1 hr 30. He is hoping to match his time a decade on. Can he do it? We think so. Good Luck Drew!
