About

So, I trekked the track last year. It rained for all eleven miles. The distance and terrain are the same, but hopefully the weather will be better!

This year's Track Trek is aiming to raise the £15,000 required to purchase a new 60 foot track panel. Any sponsorship will be gratefully appreciated by me personally and by the railway as a whole.

I've set the initial target at £250, which is a foot of track. Will you help me reach that target?

Bluebell Railway Track Trek 2017

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the Bluebell Railway's 5th sponsored "Track Trek", an 11 mile walk between East Grinstead and Sheffield Park stations on Saturday 18 November 2017.
The walk took place during the daytime, raising money for the Tr(ack) Action Appeal, that was formally launched in October.  This is an appeal set up to raise £250,000 for the renewal of track along parts of the Railway. The target for the Track Trek is to raise £15,000 which will buy a new 60 foot track panel.
A complimentary bus service operated to take trekkers from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead in the morning and then back to their original starting point at the end of the Track Trek.

Participants registered in advance for the Trek.  Details of this are available at www.bluebell-railway.me.uk/fund/TrackTrek2017.pdf
